Since Minnesota was close in 2000, and since Republicans did well there in 2002, and since the Star-Tribune poll is the Star-Tribune poll, I tend to believe the group that says it is close.
The last Star-Trib poll in 2000, which was conducted through 11/3, had Gore ahead by 10 points.
Earlier today, I wrote "Look for the next Minnesota poll that comes out, regardless of polling firm, to show results significantly different from this [Star-Tribune] one." Even my most liberal readers did not dissent.
