Let's exclude Russia and the Ukraine, and the US surpasses the combined GDP of 16 largest economies in Europe ($10.98 trillion to $10.831 trillion).
That these non participating countries have their own intersts at heart is no surprise.

If you're on the list by mistake then they should take you off, if you're not on it by mistake, then they shouldn't let you fly, since after all, that seems to be the point of the list.
