This is a common story attached to many period pieces on the Maine coast: A sea captain in Edgecomb claimed to have been part of a plot to help the endangered queen escape the French Revolution and come to the United States.
The Thomaston Cavalry was one of two local militia units started at the instigation of Henry Knox, and is believed to have formally organized about 1800-1801.
According to a local historian, the Thomaston Cavalry marched at Henry Knox's funeral in 1806, and it has been said they were carrying this banner when they did.

Fomenko actually states in Chronolgy I, page 310, that Henry Fowler is a duplicate of Rudolf Habsburg/Hapsburg who ruled from 1273-1291 CE, for a total of 18 years, Fomenko states that Henry Fowler, ruled 17 years from 919-936 CE.
Either way it does not mean he hated birds.
