For those interested in reading further, I suggest Michael Glover’s "An Improvised War", A Barker’s "Eritrea" and the North African volume of the Osprey Men At Arms series on the Italian Army, which contains a brief outline of the campaign and some excellent colour prints.
George Nafziger has available detailed orders of battle for the units involved in the campaign, including the colourful Somaliland Camel Corps, a part motorised formation of native troops and European officers who played a key role in delaying the Italian advance.
