 Distance teaching on Bornholm
The basic idea of giving the island of Bornholm an educational push can not be said to be fulfilled, alone because there was no investigation of which competence was actually needed in order to promote business development on the island.
Another important aspect to be considered is the political context of the centre-periphery debate at the time of the conceptualisation of the trial.
Despite several years with a lack of sound political initiatives to support the island, the political package for special economic development measures for Bornholm and the general political situation did not allow for a long planning phase and a more true consideration of the project.
